Dwight Howard has finally consented to tradeoffs and will soon be leaving the Orlando Magic team. It is needless to say that he will be horribly missed by everyone.
Too Much to Take
As Dwight Howard is ready to quit, fans who are DUI attorneys, friends, and teammates are finding it very difficult to deal with the situation. One person who seems to be having too much trouble accepting the fact that Howard will be moving is Orlando Magic CEO Bob Vander Weide. He has decided to resign from his position and stated that the stress of the job was one of the main reasons for his resignation. If he thinks that job is stressful, try any other! How about fly down to Honduras and see what real stress is like!
A Strange Phone Call
Reports suggest that Vander Weide made a call to Dwight Howard while he was under the influence and tearfully asked him to stay on with Magic. If he was on the streets on that day, Vander Weide might have had to call his DUI attorneys. Though sources say that the phone call was the primary reason why he decided to quit as CEO, Vander Weide denies these accusations.
Doing what he Said he Would Not Do
While he agrees that he made such a call to Howard, he denied the fact that the call was so dramatic or that he was drunk enough to need DUI attorneys. While Dwight insists that his love for Orlando and Orlando Magic has not dimmed, he is moving on to greener pastures. After Shaq’s move, Howard is breaking many hearts all over again.
