Among the many penalties for DWI include losing one’s driver’s license, being ordered to install an interlock ignition device, having to perform community service or worst of all, being sent to prison. In addition, a DWI conviction can lead you to lose your job and have trouble finding a new one. However, if you have incurred a DWI, there is still time to have your charges lowered or possibly even dropped. Contact a DWI lawyer right away to contest your charges.
