Jason Driving Hawk, 35, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence (DUI) and grand theft. He was arrested after stealing a van on Nov. 17 from outside a Pierre convenience store. The van was unlocked and running and a 2-year-old girl was inside of it.

After driving off, Driving Hawk lost control of the van, leading it to flip over and knocking down a light pole in the process.
Miraculously, no one was hurt in the accident.

Driving Hawk was sentenced to consecutive jail terms. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail for the DUI charge and three years for the grand theft charge.
