Amanda Bynes Caught Texting and Driving Just Days After DUI Arrest

LOS ANGELES, CA – Amanda Bynes was recently arrested on suspicion of DUI, but it seems like she is having a bad week in general. Now, pictures are surfacing showing the actress texting while driving.

Bynes was photographed texting while trying to park her car at a night club in Hollywood called Chateau Marmont.

In the state of California, it is illegal to text while driving, and to make matters worse, Bynes went over a curb while trying to back up into the spot.

The former “What I Liike About You” star doesn’t seem to be learning anything from her recent bout with the police. Although her father, Rick Bynes, defended her, saying she was not intoxicated at the time of her arrest, Bynes was still taken into custody after crashing her car into an LAPD police patrol vehicle.

Bynes, 26, has been in and out of the limelight, recently saying she wanted to retire from show business then retracting her statement.

A source for People magazine said the former Nickelodeon comedian has “been a little lost…[and] hit a wall personally and professionally.”

Whether she was in fact driving drunk is a matter for the court to decide.

Rottman, who currently stars as Joey Colvin on the drama series Gigantic, was arrested in Hollywood by the LAPD on Thursday night. According to authorities, Rottman smelled of alcohol when police pulled him over for driving erratically.

Louisiana-born Rottman has starred in films such as The House Bunny, The Stuntman and The Open Road. The young actor is currently dating fellow Nickelodeon actress Victoria Justice.
