Pro Golfer Arrested for DUI

PHOENIX, AZ – Pro Golfer Matthew Giles has been arrested on suspicion of DUI.
Giles, 22, probably took the worst shot of his career when he decided to get behind the wheel and crash into a single-family home in the Phoenix suburb of Gilbert on Monday.
According to police Giles was speeding when he attempted to make a left turn and lost control of his vehicle.
The accident also caused a natural gas line to rupture, but luckily, no one was injured.
Giles was arrested on suspicion of intoxication, pending results of a sobriety test in the next two weeks. A former college player at Southern California, Giles finished 66th the day before his DUI arrest at the Nationwide Tour’s TPC Stonebrae Championship in California.

Las Vegas man arrested after DUI hit and run

LAS VEGAS, NV – A Las Vegas man suspected of DUI was arrested Friday, March 16, after hitting a pedestrian and leaving the scene of the accident.
Ines Munoz, 40, was booked into the Clark County Detention Center and charged with felony DUI and hit and run.
Authorities explain the incident took place Mountain Vista Street and Margarete Avenue. Munoz was driving his 1999 Ford F150 pick-up northbound on Mountain Vista Street when he veered into the sidewalk and crashed into a pedestrian.
Munoz fled the scene but was later found at his residence and arrested by authorities.
The victim was taken to Sunrise Hospital’s trauma center with life-threatening injuries. The identity of the victim has not been released.

Flo Rida DUI Attorney Gets Judge to Agree on Deal

MIAMI BEACH, FL – Popular rapper Flo Rida has entered a deal after being arrested for DUI in Miami Beach.
This is Flo Rida’s first DUI offense. The artist’s DUI attorney told the Miami Herald on Wednesday that his client will enroll in the “Back on Track” program as part of the deal, which will require Flo Rida to perform several hours of community service as well as take DUI education classes.
The charges stem from a June 6 arrest, in which officers report witnessing the rapper driving erratically just before 4 a.m. His arrest report said the rapper, whose real name is Tramar Dillard, failed a field sobriety test and that his blood-alcohol level was twice the legal limit. In addition, officers alleged that his eyes were bloodshot and watery and that his speech was slurred.
Once he completes the program, Flo Rida will have his DUI charge amended to reckless driving with a withholding of adjudication.
