Woman Arrested for Second DUI in Alaska Within Two Weeks

PALMER, Alaska – A woman was arrested for her second DUI within two weeks last Thursday.

Palmer Patrol pulled over a 2011 Chevrolet Impala for driving too closely to the vehicle in front of her as well as for another lane violation. The driver, 39-year-old Amy B. Little, of Wasilla, was observed to be intoxicated and was taken into custody by authorities.

Officers later discovered that Little was out on bail for a separate DUI charge incurred on April 12 that she was awaiting to stand trial for. The new DUI violated the conditions of her release.

In addition to the new charges, Little was charged with Violating her Conditions of Release and was sent to jail. Her bail was set at $5,000.
